the fun in the sun wasn't as pleasant

I had to do community service today and we were using charcoal to write the stations of the cross on the sidewalks of Camden. Like… on the 5th one, I was laughing with Cheyenne and this black lady came by and she said out loud but not in particular to anyone (or so I thought) "Bitch, what'chu laughing at?" Cheyenne minutes later told me she was saying it to me ;-;-;-;-;-;-;-;-;-;-;;;-;-;-; But you know, despite being called a bitch out of no where for no reason, didn't really get me down I guess. Cheyenne said that she was probably having her own problems that made her not like others laughing (and I experienced that kind of feeling first hand too) so it was w.e afterwards. I mean, why should I let this ruin my day when my dad is taking me to buy a kindle after =D
Got my way around to using it. Got use to it so far. It costed $119 and dad bought me a $50 gift card as well and it's the paperwhite version and I want to buy a cover but there weren't a lot there… at Staples… I bought so MANY BOOKS for my kindle so far and I have $10 and something cents left. I hope I don't go crazy and addicted because despite the opportunity to bring a whole shelf of books within the palm of my hand anywhere I go, I should keep in mind that my parents don't make a lot of money anymore.
And so to compensate for my new favorite device of all times, I should probably do what I usually do, like help my parents without being asked and be aware of THE AMOUNT OF MONEY I USE JESUS CHRIST.
I remember months ago when 6 books costed $107. Books bought through amazon are either really low, cut in half, or discounted. And most books are cut in half depending on release date, fame of the author, etc. I bought 12 books so far for like… $40 >_> Like … wow. If only I got the kindle earlier when dad suggested it. I'm so pissed at all the hardcovers I was forced to buy. But you know, can't live in regret forever. Counting this as a lesson learnt.
Big question : Will I still buy books? >Depends really, but I still love turning pages. However, it won't be as often anymore. I am saving trees by doing this as well. <
KINDLE SAMA <3

It was like a whole library laid out before me but I had to pay a cheap price
